Bedroom Renovation Ideas

Bedroom is the place where you can relax yourself at the end of the day. This room always provides comfort and will refresh you for your coming day. Hence spending on bedroom renovation will really worth for your money. The following tips will help you making stress free bedroom renovation:

Bedroom renovation will increase your convenience. It doesn’t mean simply repainting your bedroom. There are numerous renovation methods which will improve the appearance of your bedroom. Some simple renovation in master bedroom like adding new wall paper, sofa set, and window curtains in the master bedroom will provide an elegant look.

Formulate a plan for renovating the bedroom which includes all the aspects like painting, wall decoration, and bedroom furniture and so on before starting the work. Changing anything in the middle of the renovation work will consume more time and will cost you more.

Since you have to leave your bedroom for renovation work temporarily, you should plan the time schedule with your contractor and explain him all the details of the renovation work. If you are renovating your master bedroom, make arrangements to stay in guest room or in some other room temporarily.

Renovating children’s bedroom is always a challenge. Your creativity and imagination will help to make the room more colorful and cozy. You can change the bedroom flooring, walls, beds and wall coverings. You can buy woolen carpet instead of nylon. Avoid shaggy carpet since it is hard to clean. You can also buy an anti slip underway. Plan the painting for children’s bedroom in bright colors.

Select wash and wear paint variety for children’s bedroom. Since children will have the bait of scribbling something in the wall, it should be easy to clean. You can also plan for painting a large area with chalk board paint. This will help the children to develop their creativity without disturbing the wall. You can also use removable hooks to hang artwork, mirror and photos. Try to avoid hammering permanently on wall as the taste of children will change.

While renovating children’s bedroom, provide large play area for them. You can buy bunk beds if you have two children which will occupy less space. Buy washable beds and pillows. Plan some storage space to keep the kids’ things neatly.
