We want to thank you very much for all your hard work. We really appreciate the effort you have put in to helping us find a home in Lorne Park, Mississauga. From our first meeting in June 2009 until our move in date, fast approaching in February 2010, we have been delighted with the service and attention you have provided. At no time have you pressured us or made us feel in any way obligated. We are very happy to have you as our agent and we feel that above all, you have been dedicated to representing our interests.

As newcomers to the GTA, we considered many options as we explored and slowly began to understand the housing market in this area. You arranged and accompanied us on many viewings, too many to remember an exact number. You were always patient and never tried to push us into any decisions. Your honest opinion was always very valuable and on many occasions you were able to draw our attention to things we might have missed; (pros and cons of different locations; resale potential; assessment values; comparisons; features or structural concerns; school boundaries; etc.) You scheduled appointments and took us on housing tours, venturing out on numerous days, evenings, weekends and holidays to show us a wide range of properties so that we could get a good understanding of the market.

We were able to draw on your wealth of knowledge and expertise in the Mississauga area and access a number of resources through your website www.bettybart.com , your email updates and listings, as well as your network of contacts, (agents and contractors,) all which really helped with our search. We are especially thankful for the number of times you were able to get us in to a new listing ‘first’ – ahead of other buyers. This certainly was a key factor in our final purchase.

We are very happy with the home we have bought and feel that we have done well in a very competitive market. We have everything we wanted on our wish list and we do not feel that we have over paid. At times, we felt we would never find the perfect place but you always reassured us, you would not let us settle for second best or over extend ourselves financially and when we could not find a place to buy before we had to move out of our rental property, you helped us in our search for temporary accommodation.

In early September, we decided to move ahead on our plans to sell our Mississauga home of 29 years.

As you might expect, we were quite ignorant of all the requirements of this complicated process. We considered several options including selling without a real estate agent.

By chance, my wife dropped into an open house event in our own neighbourhood, where she met Betty Bartusevicius (Betty Bart for short), who struck a very good impression. When our final decision was made we decided to interview several agents.

We found out about Betty by chance on the internet, when we first started to research about purchasing our first home, that was about 3 years ago. Three years ago does seem like a long time to find our home, but that was mostly on our end, as  we kept putting it off and on. During all of this Betty was the best to work with, she never pressured us but always kept us up-to-date  with the current market. Betty was very easy going, friendly and very professional. She took us to see several homes, and because we were extremely picky it did take a while for us to find a home that we truly liked, and Betty always said to us "don't worry I will find you guys a house."  Betty did find us not just a house but a home that truly felt like ours from the moment we walked into it.  She also recommended our mortgage broker who was excellent. The process of buying my new home and selling my old property was seamless.
